I’ve never had a bad outcome creating something I loved and sharing it online.
As a Self-Aware Hare, I know that I love documenting my life.
I haven’t done much documenting recently. So, for the sake of documenting and trying something new, I created two day-in-the-life videos this week.
The first was moving day in NYC, and the other was a full work day of running the VeeFriends Instagram.
I gain energy from documenting my life because I know I have good intentions for the viewer, and I enjoy sharing my human experience. Also, if I happen to make a big impact on the world, it will be fun to have footage of when I was laying the foundation.
I love doing things that pay off in multiple ways. There are many ways a day in the life video pays off.
I’m telling a true story about my life to inspire others.
I can look back on these videos in years to come and remember ‘the good ole days’.
The B-Roll video I film now can be used in other storytelling content.
I’m getting out of my comfort zone when filming in public
I’m producing opportunities by building my brand
Other benefits happen at random…
For one of the day in the life video, I needed a shot of the NYC skyline.
Mike from TeamGaryvee was sitting in the room with the best view, so I joined him. I only needed a 10-second clip of the skyline out the window.
We started talking about life, and eventually talked about Bitcoin.
He knew some of the basics but wanted to learn more, so shared the charts and insights from one of the most popular The Bleeding Edge newsletters 👇
To help Mike understand Bitcoin, I explained why Bitcoin was seeing an increase in demand leading up to the halving in April of 2024. I showed him that Bitcoin followed the same price pattern every four years because of the halving. All of which is in the report above.
He asked for the name of the newsletter and right then and there he subscribed to the PAID VERSION.
I was not expecting that at all.
If we zoom out, we’ll see the dominos that led to a new paid subscriber.
My one decision make a random day in the life > filming the skyline > a new paid subscriber of the newsletter.
The Lesson
Share your passions online. Right now, I’m seeing success by doing videos that are between 25-60 seconds long. These videos are being seen by people that don’t follow me. This means people are hearing of me for the first time. That’s my chance to grow my audience. Short-form vertical videos are your chance to grow your audience, too.
All you have to do is make a video that is either educational or entertaining. Ideally, your video is both.
Expect to suck when you start. It takes a lot of reps.
I think I’ll write an exact breakdown of how to make an interesting video in the paid version of The Bleeding Edge next month.
Update To Paid Version of The Bleeding Edge
I’m considering raising the price of the monthly edition.
I originally set it at $6 per month as a super cheap starting point.
Now that the vision is crystal clear and I feel more confident in its value, I plan to change the price to match its value.
The price will change to $15 per month starting next month.
The paid version will do two things at a deep level
Help you make great content around your interests.
Keep the wealth you generate from making content.
In the paid version, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the creation and marketing process of VeeFriends, ezrawithacamera, The Bleeding Edge, Visiting Other Worlds, and Cute Pet Mugs.
I’ll break down the grand plan for each, the creative processes, and how it applies to creators who are a few years or less into their creative journey.

Are you seeing your viewership increase across multiple platforms or is there one “leading the pack”
