I’ve been obsessed with the idea of accumulating. My focus in life right now is accumulating knowledge, growing my network one day at a time, and accumulating experiences. Each of which feeds into the other.
It’s easy to feel impatient because you feel you aren’t where you should be in life. When I quit my job at a real estate company to pursue my interest in NFTs full-time, I bought a house, and I had a little over $1,000,000 in NFTs in my wallet.
By any 24-year-old’s standards, I was wildly successful.
But I wasn’t happy.
I just told my friend last week: The moment you achieve everything you’ve ever wanted, you’re still the same person you were 60 seconds before. You need to be happy with who you are.
That starts with habits you’re proud of.
And you, reading this right now, already know which habits you should drop.
Start small and accumulate some momentum.
And just enjoy the process because the process is the present and the present is all we’ve got.
Good stuff Ezra. I'm with you 100%. Easier said that done, but being content with who I am, with what I have, in the current is true happiness. Thanks for sharing!
