Here are a couple of things from last week to keep an eye on.
ChatGPT For Automated Content Creation
I saw this Tweet where AI wrote a new recipe and created the image to promote the recipe using chatGPT and OpenAI’s DALLE-2 image generator. Both of these are free to use, and I recommend you try them for at least 5 minutes.
I love that the user asked ChatGPT to create the recipe AND a phrase they could copy and paste into an image generator to create the visual content.

I believe high-paying jobs await those that give AI the prompt it needs to give you and your company what you want.
Use AI To Detect AI-Generated Text
User Edward Tian created software to help teachers detect AI-Generated text in students’ homework. If you click on the Tweet, you’ll see the full thread.

All of these newsletters will pass this test, by the way. The marketing of the newsletter you see on social media may not 😉 Envision AI as a free intern you can call upon at any time. The downfall is you have to find direct ways to explain what you need.
Make A Song By Explaining What You Want To Hear
That’s right. Google is investing over $1 Billion into AI, and the products are starting to enter closed beta. Click the Tweet to see the full thread. It’s pretty neat tech; however, you can’t use the Google version yet.

You can use a very primitive version made by a different company called Riffusion. To be honest with you, it kind of sucks. Eventually, it won’t suck. Give this tech a few years, and you can make unlimited custom background music for your videos.
AI Art NFT Collections?
A problem with AI-generated art like DALLE-2 and Midjourney is it’s hard to tell a cohesive story across multiple pictures. . Currently, I see most use cases being one-off images created for a specific purpose. At ONE37pm, I’m the resident AI guy, and I’ll make images for Instagram, like when Netflix was hiring a flight attendant.
As an artist that uses AI (when do we start comfortably saying AI artist and not blink an eye?), it’s difficult to get your own unique look.
This week, I stumbled on a collection of 50 images created by the_invisible_realm. This is the first AI art collection I’ve seen with a cohesive story told throughout all the images. They all look like alien visits in beautiful desert landscapes captured on color film from the 1960s.
This got me thinking. I wanted to explore a series of AI images that are true to my interests and tell a cohesive story. I’m excited to say that I finished the project today.
I’ll show more about this project later in the week.
It will be my first NFT art collection. It will be an extremely small supply.
It will be extremely affordable.
